That's quite a long tongue he has! Yeah, I think every cat I've had has been fascinated with the freshness of sink water. Even better when it's a drippy faucet - a never ending supply!
We found out our cat was diabetic when she started begging for water from the faucet. But that was because she wanted it constantly, several times an hour.
Melvin likes his water fresh!
