Now I have memories of you dancing around in your basement stomping on the cockroaches with horrified screams.
What kind of bug is that?

Amazing?! That proves there is evil in this world! AAAAAAAH! I can't believe someone's touching it. Whoever it is is my hero-of-the-day:)

I'm impressed that you held that thing! But think of it as the bug that pulled the flea's circus wagon in Bug's Life- now does he seem so scary? Just big and slow-witted and rather nice. :-)

Yes, Claire, this is the same one you saw. Nate is the brave soul holding the vile creature. I had to screw up my courage to even photograph it. Yuck.

Cool bug

Yes, he does look like the guy on Bug's Life! I'm so glad to live in a place with "normal" bugs. ;-)

Yes, I thought "Bug's Life," too, so...somehow it seems much less scary than a *whispers* cockroach.

Also much more fabulously cool!

Aww, it's so cute. Really. It is. LOL! I know, I'm a crazy bug girl. I can't help it. I was born that way.

We once had a hissing bug that looked like this outside of our front door, and I was so excited to catch it and look at it (in a cup, not in my hands), but Brent wouldn't get near it. :-)
